Y1 Curriculum
Welcome to Y1’s class pages!
Our Year 1 team are so excited as we move into Autumn's second term. Our children are settling into Year 1 ever so well. Your teachers are: Miss Heaton and Mrs Waheed (Y1 Mulberry) and Miss Picton (Y1 Holly)
Autumn 2:
Our key subject driver will be DT, where we will research, develop skills, design, make, evaluate and advertise/market our Winter-themed mechanical greeting cards at our Winter Wonderland.
We will also complete a week of work around British Values, with a focus on democracy as we elect our class Pupil Parliament Representatives.
In our non-intensive teaching, we will revisit previously taught learning across the curriculum.

Things to remember:
- Please ensure your child brings their book bag with them every day.

PE days are Monday and Friday - children need to come in their PE kit. Please ensure your child wears suitable clothing (not jeans or boots). PE kit is a white T-shirt and blue/black joggers/leggings/shorts. Trainers or pumps.
