Y2 Curriculum
Welcome to Y2’s class page!
Spring term: Our Year 2 team have had a fantastic start to the term so far and can't wait to continue our fabulous learning! Your teachers are Miss Berry (Y2 Cassia) and Mrs Padley (Y2 Cedar).
This term, our topic focus is Geography. In Geography, we will be learning all about continents and oceans. We will be learning about many geographical features of place, space, scale, diversity, physical and human geography. Our learning will delve deeper into hot and cold areas of the world and what it is like in many different countries. Alongside this, we will revisit previously taught learning in Art, History, Music, RE and D&T.
Children will access knowledge organisers in each lesson and these will be sent home with children as well so you can look at home together. Any other information will be on our curriculum pages or you can speak to either Miss Berry or Mrs Padley to discuss this further.

Things to remember:
- Please ensure your child brings a book bag with them every day.
- Please ensure your child brings their RWI book to school with them every day.
- PE is Tuesday and Friday - children need to come in their PE kit. Please ensure your child wears suitable clothing (not jeans or boots). Please remove any jewellery, including earrings.
- PE kit is a white T-shirt and blue/black joggers/leggings/shorts. Trainers or pumps.
